99 Cougar headlights wont turn on

Yesterday I installed a new cd player for my 1999 Mercury Cougar. Now, my headlights or my dash lights won't turn on. I checked all my fuses, and 1 fuse was blown, but I changed that. The only lights that will turn on are my fog lights. Everything else in the car works perfect, just not my headlights or my dash lights. I've gone over every wire and I can't figure it out.
Any help would be appreciated!!!!

Is this some aftermarket device or a whole unit to replace an original whatever?
If you didn't get the right hook ups or an "interface" and just poked wires for what was power and ground then your lucky you didn't blow the car up or set off an air bag!
