I currently own a 2000 ford windstar (not running - wont go into detail as its irrelevant) I found a 1999 ford windstar for sale with bad tranny, from what i hear the tranny can be swapped from the 00 to the 99 The 99 also quoted " Needs front end work ei; tierods, bushing, sway bar etc." My main question is would these parts be able to be swapped from the 00 to the 99 as well? Have both VIN #s at the ready and the date of manufacture. Sometimes mid year they will change things that could make it incompatible.
