My 98 blazer is going through about a quart or so of coolant every other day. I see it leaking from under the upper rightside ac pump or under the air filter housing. If it is the intake manifold gasket, how tough would this be to fix, or how much will it cost me to have it fixed??

Intake manifold gaskets are too common on a couple GM engines. Try to clean it off, pressure test if needed to verify exactly where it's leaking from.

Parts are cheap. A '98 (un said what engine) could make it a lot more labor intensive. I can't guess your local labor rates but I wouldn't short cut the fix either as it's too important to your engine. Consider approving all new antifreeze, old hoses that need replacing and an oil change if this is the job needed,

Its a 4.3 vortec.. I am 1500k past my oilchange date.. Where could i get it pressure tested?? Tires plus?? Ill have it looked at next week... Also. I have noticed it does require dex coolant and the owner before me had it switched to the green... Labor rates around me are around $75-90/hr

It probably uses a common radiator cap and pressure tester would just go there up to cap's rating or a tad lower. Word has it that Autozone or like places rent stuff like that for free with deposit if you wish to try yourself to locate it. Any shop that takes this work on would test it first themselves unless wildly obvious of the problem.

It certainly is a problem to fix! I personally don't care if Dextron (orange) or quality green antifreeze is used and don't think that caused a problem. Techs will disagree on that and have good points both ways. Your call.

No matter what, keep it filled and carry premixed coolant with you and check like a hawk not to allow an overheat! Don't let one problem become more than it is now,

I STRONGLY suggest against using sealers of any kind! It may slow the up front issue but rarely a cure and has to be flushed out or other issues can come about. Tell a shop/tech that it's in there so they aren't fooled while verifying the leak,
