98 Plymouth Breeze - Starter fuse keeps blowing

98 Plymouth Breeze 2.2 Liter Engine 172,000~ Miles Story: I recently bought a new car because the fuel pump in my Breeze is failing (unrelated). I was taking my subwoofer out of the car. When I was detaching the wire that is hooked on the positive end of the battery, I clanked my wrench on some of the internal metal. I heard a small spark and a kind of "clickclick" noise. Afterwards, the car wouldn't start. The lights / stereo work except it does not even try to turn. I did a little research and saw that it could be a fuse, so I opened the fuse panel under the hood and of course the Starter/Power fuse was blown. I replaced it, and tried to start the car again. It was just about to turn when I heard the "clickclick" noise again. The fuse was blown again. TLDR: Removed sub from my car, touched metal with wrench while working on battery, starter fuse blown and keeps blowing. Any help would be greatly appreciated, and let me know if there's anything else I can provide you to help me. Thanks!

For lack of any diagrams - look at the blown fuse for wire color headed to trigger starter and inspect wires at starter too. ALWAYS REMOVE NEG POST OF BATTERY FIRST OFF, LAST ON and this won't happen again, T _________________________________________ Long retired now

Thank you. I'll check out the wires when I'm home from work.
