98 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4 4.0L V6 - fuel pressure regulator	Sign In

Hi...I just recently bought my 98 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has some problems starting. If I let pressure build up before I fully turn the ignition, generally I'm able to start it on the first try. If I don't wait, then it takes 2-3 times before it will start.

I'm fairly certain that the problem is the fuel pressure regulator and I am looking for replacement parts. I'm unable to find them for this vehicle!

My question....is this part part of something else, like the fuel pump? Just how difficult is it to switch this out? I saw in the Hanyes manual that you have to drop the gas tank to get at it.

Anyone have any ideas or sources?
