Not push button it is a floor shift. When in 2wd positon. The 4x4 light stays on. But you can hear and feel it come out of 4x4. When slowing from highway speed it sounds like the 4x4 is trying to kick in. When I slow enough you can hear and feel it kick in. However when its put in 4x4 this does not happen. What do you guys think? If this is the vacuum diaphragm (I think underhood on front right fender well, than plug off that line and see if light goes out. At least if that works you should save any possible damage till this gets fixed. The cable and diaphram were stuck. I got it unstuck and changed the diff oil. The light was out all was good until I started the truck and made vacum. The light came back on. Like you said I pinched the line the light went out. Let it go light goes on.
