96 acura 3.0 CL cuts off while driving Sign In

I have a 96 Acura 3.0 CL with 155,000 miles on it. It randomly cuts off while I am driving it. Sometimes it will do it 5 times in a mile and sometimes it will run fine for weeks. It usually only does it for the first couple of miles that I drive, then its fine....at least 99% of the time. When it cuts off the green key light comes on. The problem gets much worse in the summer when the temperature outside is warm. Also when its warm outside I sometimes have to crank it as many as 10 times to get it to start. Most of the time it just cuts off quickly, sometimes without me even knowing it, but a few times I have felt it starting to happen and if I hit the gas pedal it will kick back in again. The radio, lights, etc still work even after it cuts off. I took it in and of course it wouldn't do it for the mechanic. He cleaned out the throttle body housing and that didn't seem to help anything at all. Any suggestions?? Thanks in advance for any advice...

This could be a fuel pump, crank sensor, wiring problem, relay coil failing, ignition switch, PCM, and so on. The only way to diagnose this is you would need the vehicle to stay dead with all of the no-start equipment hooked up to see what is missing. Anything else is just a guess at this time.
