'95 Ford Escort Beeping Constantly-Help! Sign In

I have a '95 Ford Escort that I just recently bought with 190,000 miles. Whenever I put the keys in the ignition and start it, it starts to beep. Then, randomly it will beep when I am driving. I know it has nothing to do with the seat belts because I put buckled all seatbelts to see if this was the case. Please help, I am not familiar with Fords and am going crazy from the beeping! I have read that it is a problem with this make and model but I do want it to stop.

Plugging in the seat belts doesn't eliminate the possibility that they are causing the problem. It could also be a door switch not engaging. You may be able to follow the noise to the actual component making the noise and try unplugging it to see if you lose anything else important.
