95 Astro AWD, 4.3. Power steering runs through the brake master cylinder area.

The power steering cooling tube (long tube that runs in a loop on the bottom front of the van) has a slow drip at the front of the van, near one of the rubber to metal joints. I found one end of the tube, the other end I can't even find let alone reach it.

I was wondering if the cooling tube is a high pressure line or not. If it is not a high pressure line, then I'd much prefer to just cut out the bad section and splice in a good one.

Thanks.

Yes the cooler is on the return side of the system; so it is low pressure.
