I've had that problem on a few different GM vehicles with ABS. I
believe it is caused by dirt getting caught in some valving in the ABS
unit. They way I cured more than one of these was too drive to a dirt
section of road and do a couple of hard brake lockups, sufficient to
activate the ABS on various wheels and it cured the problem every time.
