Sign In 1994 Ford Thunderbird LX 4.6L- My car won't shut off once it is started. So i was told at an auto parts store that it was the tumbler. I with the help of a friend changed it. Problem still existed, so we took that part back out and I went back to the store to return it. After talking to another guy he told me I had to take the steering wheel off and visibly check all the parts until I find the part that is broken. Can you help, so far I have gotten the steering wheel off. Now it looks like there is another part that I need to take off but that doesn't look like it is gonna allow me to get to the ignition parts that I think I need to get to. Can you help, I obviously don't know much about cars myself. Any advice and pictures would be appreciated greatly. Sign In The ignition switch and key switch are two different things.
