Search Auto Parts Search 94 Rover Metro 1.1S Low MPG Sign up here!   Email This Post Auto Repair Home>> Automotive Repair>> Car Troubleshooting 56kbs New User Apr 18, 2012, 10:39 AM Post #1 of 3 (1968 views) 94 Rover Metro 1.1S Low MPG Sign In Hi everyone, My Rover Metro 1.1S has been getting really low MPG for a while now, used to get 250 miles to a tank, now hitting 120-150 miles to a tank I've replaced gaskets and seals in the carb Patched the blowing exhaust Checked if my brakes are sticking on (Possibly were but one has been fixed and no noticeable change in fuel use) Mixtures are set up I'm also finding it very hard to start the car on a cold engine. Car is a manual choke for reference. Had new spark plugs, new cam belt amongst other things.
