Hi,
My front engine mount is broken on my 93 Honda Accord. Can not afford to get it done by the mechanic.
Is there a way to do it at home? Lacking a cherry picker is it possible to support the motor from underneath with a jack (with wood/rubber between the jack and engine) while replacing old to new? Or it is too heavy and would possibly damage the bottom part? Any other ways around it?
Also, mechanic said, he needs to take radiator off for this. To me it seems to have enough room with that on. Am I mistaken?
Thank you for any help in advance!
Best

No guarantees but you can support the weight of the engine from the oil pan with wood to do this. Dont lift the car that way!! May take pry bars to line a new one up. T
