92 ford ranger wont crank

92 ford ranger wont crank Sign In

92 ford ranger 3.0 replaced fuel pump fuel filter plugs and checked injectors all are spraying engine spins but does not crank any suggestions

It had set up a year after fuel pump was replaced man we bought it from just gave up when it didn't crank after pump was replaced. Plugs were fouled with gas, fuel filter was stopped up,so we replaced plugs and filter. Then checked injectors.

Do a full compression test, dry and wet. post results here

unplugged fuel relay and turned engine over several times and it crank for about 5 seconds and went dead when it wouldn't crank at all before so this shows it is flooding out when relay is pluged up what sending unit is it does anybody know?

Getting cranking and starting confused. Cranking means the starter is turning the crankshaft. Starting means the engine begins running after the starter is released.

Not sure how your testing this, but you really haven't given us very much detail.

Was there any repairs done before this no start occurred?

Read this to determine what system is causing your no start. Write down any trouble codes stored in the engine computer. Write down the results of the tests in the post.
