I have a 1990 Audi 100 and /i can't get it to start. I was going through a drive thru and they had me pull ahead to wait for my order. I turned the car off and then turned the battery on so I could listen to my radio while I waited. When I went to start the car it wouldn't turn over. Except there is no click, you turn the key and it does nothing. The kicker, when I turn the ignition off and take the keys out, the battery doesn't turn off. The radio was still on and the start up lights (brake, seatbelt, battery) are on. I turned the radio off so I could conserve the battery as long as I could but I am completely at a loss here. HAs anyone ever heard of this happening before? Any ideas would be appreciated more than you could know, as I am out of town for work and kind of stuck right now.(Actually, not kind of, I am stuck.)

Just going off what you are saying it sounds like you may have a bad ign switch. Does if feel any different that it use to when you turn the key?

Also you may want to get the battery tested to make sure everything is good there.......
