89 ford f250 no signal to coil

89 ford f250 no signal to coil Sign In

i have check the wires and the coil all that stuff i still cant get any signal to the coil it has the 351 windsor motor 4x4 5spd man trans and it has 12 volts on the positive side of the coil

You need to check and see if you have injector pulse using a noid light bulb and we'll see where that takes us.

i dont have a noid light but i belive i can here the injectors do you have any ideas at all on what i can check

Yes, you can check for injector pulse. You can get a noid light for under $10.

If you find that you have lost injector pulse also, then you could be looking at a bad pick up coil in the distributor. If you find that you have lost only spark and the injector pulse is good, then you could be looking at a bad Ignition control module

just to let yall know i have resolved the problem however im not sure which fix fixed it i replaced the pickup coil and i replaced the plug on the coil only because my 94 f150 wouldnt start today and thats what fixed that

My money would be on the pickup coil.
