Do hazard lights work on that side? Fast clicking suggests too much draw and could be the flasher's fault. Look very close at the contacts on the bottom of bulbs. It fairly common for them to wear down on a older car . With the sigals on walk around and see which is not working . Try a new bulb in that socket.
