2 questions: Car reverse made a crunch noise + Wind cause the door slammed

1. I was at give way and my front was sticking out too much so when I selected reverse there was a crunch noise. The car is a 2010 Vauxhall astra 3dr mk5
Will it damage the gearbox or transmission due to the crunch noise in reverse gear? The car is a manual transmission.
2. It is windy here in Scotland and when I was unpacking bags into the car but suddenly the wind forced the passenger car door to be slammed hard closed which cause the whole car to shake? I'm worried if it can damage the car door electrics or mechanical parts or windows/speakers.

No car listed so wild guesses only and probably not sold to the US where most of the regulars are.
1. Crunch if you were moving at the time might be normal and don't do that again with reverse. That or clutch is NOT fully disengaged either adjustment or a failed hydraulic component for that type of linkage to it. Air in hydraulics possible too but usually means recently poorly bled out or a failure coming if still OK shifting in forward, synchronized gears.
2. Slamming doors for any reason can cause damage - no doubt about that. Most would show up right away. In that it was slammed closed and not wildly wind blown open probably better than bending up the body and hinges. Wind is wind just try not to let it happen by mistake and never on purpose.
Anything could give out more often windows fall off tracks or break parts holding window more than other things. Said, if fine now you probably lucked out,

Sorry I live in the United Kingdom
1. Nope I think the car was stationery at that time and I had the clutch fully depressed.
2. I am worried of damaging the door/electrics or speakers because the wind had caught the door and it made a hard slam which the whole car shake. It just makes me think the car doors are not designed to stand up to this abuse

Don't be sorry for where you live. It's just we don't have most of the same exact cars sold here.
Grinding into reverse issue: If like most and you were in neutral prior to the shift or maybe not but faster than the gears inside trans could come to a stop it could "zip" for a bit. Some could be normal for the design. If all the time that means clutch isn't fully disengaged for reasons already mentioned. That can be so much that car would move on level ground in a gear as well and needs immediate attention. No, it's not good for it but IMO problems if any would show up if it damaged transmission.
Slamming door: It's just that items inside are not made for that much trauma. Nylon wheel(s), rubber channels hold the glass in place and could break what I'll call a "regulator" for it. It would be much more likely to damage or at least fall off track if window was part open or perhaps totally open IMO.
Nothing inside door wants that much but window would be a more likely instant problem. If it goes up and down as it should and all other things work there's nothing to do about it now at all.
Just common sense things are made light weight and less strength all over and can't take excessive forces like that nor designed to but again problem should be right now if so.
If anything you take door panel off to view what happened and go from there,

1. Some transmissions reverse isn't syncronized, so if the input shaft hasn't spun down, you may get crunching or grinding noises putting it into reverse. Sometimes you can't get it to go into reverse and may have to let the clutch back out and in to get the gears to line up. It really doesn't hurt anything if you do it once in a while, but if you can't get it into reverse and it is grinding, you need to find out why the clutch isn't spinning down.
2. If the door locks and speaker are all working, you really shouldn't be too concerned. Wouldn't make a habit of slamming the door though...lol. The weather stripping absorbs a lot of the blow.
