2014 Hyundai Tucson TPMS Issues Sign In

So, I'm having a problem with my 2014 Tucson. The TPMS light flashes for approx a minute then stays on. I realize this indicates a problem with one of the sensors however, I had all the sensors tested by Tire Kingdom via a handheld TPMS diagnostic device and they have indicated that ALL sensors are reading as they should. They also said all tires are inflated to spec. Here's the kicker though. I have NEVER had a problem with any sensor UNTIL AFTER the vehicle was taken into Hyundai for a cam software recall.
Is this Hyundai's way of f-ing something up so you'll have to take it back to them for PAID service? Short of spending upwards of $500, is there a way to reset the tpms light say via OBDII handheld? I've already tried to reset it via disconnection of battery for 24 hours.
FYI; Tire Kingdom said they can't reset light due to insurance regulations. Go figure. Hey, at least they didn't say, "Yeah, all your sensors need replaced!" just to make a quick buck!

First step is stop going to Tire Kingdom. They are clueless.

Just because he can activate a sensor at the wheel doesn't mean all is well. You need to get this diagnosed properly. There are all kinds of possibilities. They could have done an update to the PCM that triggered a problem with the system or the car just may not be recognizing one of the sensors.

I would head back to the dealer to ask them if the update could have interfered with the TPMS. They may have erased the registration of the sensors.

No the TPMS light is a federal safety thing, kinda like asking them to remove the seat belts and with tire light, the only way to shut it off is to fix the system.

Just because they can "wake up" the sensors with the tpms tool doesn't mean there isn't a problem.

As HT suggested, the 1st thing to do would be to call the dealer and see if they are having issues with the update they installed.

If not you could have them look at it but that would be you most expensive option, there are a lot of independent shops that could look at this.
I'm sure there is probably a trouble code in the TPMS module if the light is flashing. If you have access to a higher end scan tool that can 'talk" to the different modules, then you should be able to pull that trouble code.

My two cents! A freaking tire gauge is still 99 cents. WTF is the matter with the world. That stupid needs to NOT drive a vehicle! OMG don't get me going,
