2011 Ralliart - Changed wheels, horrible knocking

Hi All, I have a 2011 Mitsubishi lancer ralliart (2.0T awd). This last spring I bought a new set of wheels for my 2011 Ralliart to keep my summer tires on. I stored my winter tires on the wheels in the basement and figured that since we're halfway through Nov, I'd take the summer wheels/tires off and put the winter wheels/tires on. The winters are on the stock aluminum wheels. Well, now that I did it, I seem to be regretting it. I took the car for a quick test drive and there's a horrible rotational knocking/thumping sound coming from the rear (sounds like passenger side but I can't quite pin it down). It almost sounds like a train going over traintracks - very rhythmic. I figured I would need to have the lug nuts torqued properly since I did it by hand but I didn't think not using a torque wrench would sound that bad if that's what the problem is. I'm hoping someone out here can help. Thanks!

You probably have the wrong wheels and they are hitting the brake caliper. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ We offer help in answering questions, clarifying things or giving advice but we are not a substitute for an on-site inspection by a professional.

Thanks Hammertime. Is there any easy way of checking that? They seem to look the same. I had someone drive the car down the driveway and I walked alongside looking for something rubbing and couldn't see anything.

It's going to be on the inside of the wheel so it has to be lifted in the air and inspected while rotating the tire by hand.
