At 7,000 miles I started hearing a clicking noise when applying back brakes. I took it into the dealer today and they said this was normal. I left knowing this was just not right. Why wasn't this happening for the first 7,000 miles. I plan on going to another another dealer ship and asking them to take care of the problem. I won't stop until the noise goes away. Excessive clearance causes the pads to have room to play so when you apply the break you here a click. There are a few options: -Build up the pad seat (so a small weld on top and grind down till pad fits snug in the bracket) -make sure the caliper clips are installed -replace caliper clips and brackets then re-install pads and check clearances. Parking brake would be just the back.
