2009 Chrysler Sebring rough start, cuts off, loss of power

I have a 2009 Chrysler Sebring sedan 2.4L engine that has 54500 miles on it. For a while now it has been rough starting and acting like it doesn't want to however, it always does. Recently I was driving and went to turn on a side street and the car completely stopped running. I put it in park and it started right back up no problem. It has never done it again since. Although now, whenever I stop at a light or stop sign or even when I slow down and try to speed back up it acts like it doesn't want to go. It's almost as if it's not getting any power. When I get over a certain speed though the car runs fine and otherwise runs fine too (it does not idle funny, etc.). Any ideas or suggestions?
