2008 jeep compass rallye

I have a 2008 jeep compass with a 2.4L engine it has 49,000 miles on it. My wife was driving it two days ago went to the store everything was fine she left the store and the turn signals wouldn't blink not even on the dash plus the head lights automatically come on now as before you had to turn the switch and this one isn't equipped with automatic lights I looked at the rear tail lights and none of the bulbs are blown back there but as for the front I can't figure out how to get them out are even get to them any help would be much appreciated thank you.
