2008 civic breaks

I have a grinding sound coming front the back drivers side wheel. Even when I don't apply the breaks you can hear it at low speeds. I took it in to my local shop, they said it was the rear breaks. That's what I thought it was probably going to be. They said they had to do the breaks. Total price $400. Just wondering if this sounds right, and what should they have done for this price. Pads, rotors, ect.... 75000 kilometers.

I don't know if they are disc of drum breaks but if they are disc and went metal to metal, he's probably replacing the rotors also. He's not far off if that is the case.
