2008 Nissan Altima - Brake light indicator Sign In

Hi group, I did not see an earlier post that addressed this one.

Our 2008 Altima, 4 cylinder, automatic has a brake light indicator that comes on for about 5-10 minutes when you first use the car. Then it goes off sometime during travel. Could this be an electrical glitch or something else? Brakes appear fine. Car has 44K on it.

If it is a brake indicator then it could be that the brake fluid is low or some other system problem. Like level sensor failure. It could be a lot of different stuff. Brakes are nothing to fool around with. If you are not sure it is best to have it checked. Being that it is a 2008 it may still be under factory warranty.

Could be the ABS light you're seeing too.
