2008 Escape TPMS error, AC shuts off Sign In

Hello!

08' Ford Escape, 115k miles.

TPMS error started showing up on the instrument cluster a few months back. Each time it pops up AC stops working (fan still blows, uncooled air comes out). Turn signal clicks/lights notifications on the instrument panel don't happen when error shows up either.

When TPMS error goes away (intermittently goes on and off, no consistent intervals, but lasts anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour) the cool air starts coming out again.

I have disabled the TPMS system via OBD adapter and Forscan, but error keeps coming up.

Any help is appreciated. Thanks.

You're going to have to start with a professional scan tool that can access all modules to see what codes are stored. I don't mean a generic code read. I mean a REAL professional scan tool.

Since everything goes through the cluster, it's a common point of failure and everything can get a bit tricky... I'd recommend checking out: Link deleted and giving them a call. They focus exclusively on cluster problems and should be able to offer you some answers.

QuandAns42,
