2008 Chevrolet Malibu Key Fobs and TPM not working

My battery died recently. After I replaced the battery, the key fobs and the tire pressure display did not work.
Any ideas?
Is this something I can fix or would I need a computer with GM software?
About how much is the part(s)?

If you are trying to fish for other answers, realize that we all see the same forum and user history, along with IP addresses for those of us mods.
HT also warned you rather well after I made it clear that this is not a legal forum. You are obviously trying to think you can backdoor it. You can't. Not here. That is not what this place is about.
You claimed in your original post that you had what I still consider to be an ironclad case against the dealer you are in suit with. But realize that the courts DO NOT recognize usernames on forums of the internet. Hell, you can find people online that think Y2K actually happened if you try hard enough. Is that going to hold up in court, no.
I once in my early days of dealing with the law was ignorant of these things. I was told very sternly by my lawyer after doing what I thought was "helpful" to shut the hell up and never speak again if I knew what was good for me. By opening my mouth I turned a 6 month sentence into a 16 month. one. All I had to do was shut up, but I knew I was right and thought I could say anything. I spent my 18th and 19'th birthdays without seeing the light of day.
While you do not face the same penalties in a civil case vs mine which was a criminal one, the same lessons can be learned. If you piss off that judge, and trust me it takes very little (why do you think I got an extra 10 months on my sentence as a first time offender and a juvenile at that?) he WILL hold you in contempt of court and you will get to meet my sort of people. I do not think you will like them.
Trust me, I've been in more jails than you have driven by and by no means am I proud of it. Let me tell you that I have had a better education of how the real system works than many lawyers because I have been in it. If you undermine your case now like you are, or think you can get real evidence off of internet forums, your lawyer is going to be mad at you for wasting his time.
Please make your next post about a legitimite concern instead of trying to raise what you think is evidence and the rest of the jury calls you an idiot for mentioning. If your lawyer actually tries to present the printouts of internet forums as "evidence" you can kiss your verdict goodbye.
If you are just representing yourself just say so. Don't waste our time fishing for things that will not help your case and do not post bogus links that don't work to court documents. The link to the youtube vid of your first thread was the only one that did work. If you want my two cents, PM me with WORKING links of all relevant court docs and I will tell you what I think of the direction your case is going. I will do it in PM as it has been clearly stated this is a public forum for car repair, not a legal site.
At all times you should first defer to the legal council you have paid to represent you in this matter. They will not like to be interfered with and likely have more experience in dealing with this than you do. Having a dashcam on your car helps them build a case, it does not make you a lawyer. Let these people earn their money.
This is the last warning. While we welcome people to post on this site for help, it is about fixing cars and that is it. This is the second thread on the same issue. If the next topic you open is just a fishing expedition on the same thing then the BAN button gets pushed. I would prefer that not happen, as I would like for us to be here when you choose to do a repair of your own and have a question. You meet the best of criteria for a poster after all:
1. you know how to use your computer properly.
2. you have a camera that films in 1080p on your dash, showing it can be moved to show other things in clarity such as the issue at hand you need help fixing.
3. you want to ensure that you do not waste needless money on repairs in the hands of others. So let us talk you through it!
4. You have a good knowledge of the english language in its written and spoken forms, not only proving you are not an idiot but that you can understand clear and concise instructions.
So taking those 4 factors into account, I invite you back anytime to talk about repairs you are trying to perform ( that this site was made for) and not how a dealership hosed you ( for your lawyer to prove with your dash cam that they indeed did to a jury of your peers)

Ugh, yes I would dumbass. While being able to see an IP is not new, we bothered to modify this site due to spam. So we can not only ban ypur user name but the IP itself. Also, maybe you should think of this. A lot of people who have more computer skills than people skills tend to become trolls. Kinda like you.
