2008 Buick Allure Startup Issues Sign In

I’ve been having multiple start up problems with my 2008 Buick Allure automatic transmission (110,000 km’s) lately. If I’m taking a shorts drive (5 minutes) and then shut my car off to go do some chores then go back to start it, it starts up and then dies immediately (loses power) along with my steering wheel being locked. If I then turn it off and restart it it studders then starts up okay with steering wheel power also restored. I’ve had my ignition module recently changed along with a brand new battery. Another start up issue I’ve experienced is it has a hitch it in when starting. This happens randomly at any time when I will turn my key all the way, it will start to turn over, go silent for about .5 seconds then turn over again and start up fine. I can’t seem to find anything on why these 2 things seem to be happening. I’m also not having any codes come up on a buddies scanner. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This is a Canada only model so we don't have it here in the US.

This is not going to be a simple diagnosis as there is a complicated circuit. The ignition switch signals the BCM and then the BCM signals the PCM which, if happy with all the signals received, triggers the starter relay. All this communication is done on a digital data line. You will need factory level scan tools to be able to see what is happening when this failure occurs.
