Hello, I`m in the process of purchasing a 2007 Honda Civic DX 4 door, with 180K KM. The price is 3500$, below is the inspection report: CORRECTION: MULTI-POINT INSPECTION COMPLETED TIRE WEAR/USURE PNEUS: YOKOHAMA ICEGUARD 195/65R15 7/32nd AT 4 WHEELS (GOOD FOR 1 MORE SEASON) FREINS AVANT/FRONT BRAKES: 90% REMAINING (excellent) FREINS ARRIERE/REAR BRAKES: 40% REMAINING (very good) - RECOMMEND BRAKE SERVICE AT 4 WHEELS (CLEAN & GREASE) TRANSMISSION OIL FLUSH: 99.88$ + TX (DUE FOR MAINTENANCE) BRAKE FLUID FLUSH: 72.88$ + TX (DUE FOR MAINTENANCE) A/C CONDENSOR: 551.00$ + TX (FINS LOOSE/NO LEAKS DETECTED) LEFT REAR SHOCK: 286.58$ + TX (LEAKING) 4 WHEEL BRAKE SERVICE: 131.94$ + TX (DUR FOR MAINTENANCE) NOTE: NOISE AT ENGINE START UP (NOT DANGEROUS), NEED TO HAVE DIAGNOSTIC TIME TO CONFIRM EXACT CAUSE OF NOISE, UNABLE TO CONFIRM DURING INSPECTION IF NOISE CAUSED BY SERPENTINE BELT TENSIONNER OR STARTER. DIAGNOSTIQUE/DIAGNOSTIC: 109.95$ + TX (1.0H) The biggest qualm for me so far is the engine noise. I wonder if it could suggest possible transmission issues. Appreciate any feedback!

Good for you for checking it out BEFORE purchase. If still interested you must find out what the engine noise is upon start up. If from wear and slow to build up oil pressure I'd pass on the car. Other stuff some OK some there's more to think about. If one rear suspension shock is leaking you really should count cost of both - never just one unless a failed brand new one perhaps? T
