2006 Dodge Charger R/T Ran Rough During Test Drive Sign In

My son is interested in a 2006 Dodge Charger R/T 5.7ltr (150,000 miles) which we test drove this morning. Everything was smooth when accelerating and decelerating until the engine was reaching idle. It ran rough - like the idle was not properly set. I felt it each time we were coming to a stop. But, I didn't feel it when it was sitting still.

I don't feel that it had anything to do with the brakes as I didn't feel it through my foot.

I am not sure if it is something major that I should worry about.

It might be something major. You should have the vehicle checked over by your mechanic before you buy it. That way you know what you're getting yourself into.

Since we volunteer our time and knowledge, we ask for you to please follow up when a problem is resolved.

have a professional check it out, most repair facilities do used car checks BEFORE you purchase, the money is very well spent.
Being a hemi charger I very strongly suggest you have it checked out, nothing really wrong with the model BUT many are modified and that is problematic the check will find any issues.
