2006 Cadillac STS about 80,000 miles 3.6L V6	Sign In

Hi the plastic under panel underneath the engine in the front of my Caddy recently came off because it got caught on a stationary cement block in front of parking spot. The panel itself is in tact so I doubt I would have to replace, I'd just like some advice on how I can go about fixing it. Any advice is appreciated.

It's probably torn all the bolt holes when it ripped off. You might be able to rig it with tie straps but it likely should be replaced.

It stop water from rushing up into the engine so I wouldn't leave it off too long.

This is way too common where I am both from those parking things or plain raised anything or even just driving on the lousy roads you see them everywhere. It's an air dam to help direct airflow thru grille by making a vacuum under engine at speed so should be fixed.

How totally depends on damage of how it came off like HT said might be tough or broken. IDK - if too common to you for this it's either YOU causing it or conditions of where you go not helping at all.

Assorted things go: Round zip buttons that don't work twice available. If torn bumper skin it could be nasty if perfect is wanted.

IDK - those parking things I thought were to touch front tires 100 years ago and were fine you were in a parking place just right. Now then just cause troubles as cars are so low,
