2005 nissan sentra all warning lights went off and died Sign In

So,
I have a 2005 Nissan Sentra 1.8L 100,000+miles. Was driving in to work and all of the warning lights on the dash lit up and the gas wouldn't work anymore. Then I lost power steering. I was able to pull over and sat there trying to get the car started again. It took about 10 min then it rolled over and I was able to go. As soon as I pulled in to my office parking lot, about 5 min from where my car died, the car dies again. I have no idea what is going on here and need an idea of what is happening for when I take it to a mechanic.
Please help.

? You lost power steering and dash warnings lit up. Did PS stay unpowered? This if so would be consistent with the belt coming off or wildly slipping, not enough power from alternator and nothing would work well. Driving 5 more miles looking at warning lights may have really cost you either way,

you are taking to a mechanic -(technician-technologist) but you want to diagnose it yourself, Like doing your own lab work before going to a physician?

Ok we would start with the simple and basics first using clues to narrow down the diagnostic process.

THe Check Engine light is it on - scanning the computer for any issues,
Does the engine crank? might be a hint at battery charging system condition.
Ask you any recent work done - maintenance history- a clue maybe.
then basic diagnostics- fuel- level and pressure checks. Spark is it present at ALL plugs. Mechanical issues.

Taking a wag your issue sounds electrical -

When the car turned on again, there were no warning lights or anything. It seemed to be just fine again (I know, dumb little girl.)

There should be enough information in the vehicle computer coupled with the basics to get this resolved.

let us know - ask any question ask lots of questions - knowing will relieve the anxiety.
