About a week ago my battery light started to turn on every once in awhile when I would come to a stop at a stoplight, then it would turn off when I began to push the gas. This would happen at 1 out of every 10 lights. Then this morning on my way to work on the freeway my traction control light and my ABS light started blinking on and then off about 3 times then they turned on and stayed on. Then my radio shut off. Then almost all of the instrument panel warning lights came on and then all the lights went out, fuel guage stopped registering, the speedometer quit working. So I replaced the battery and the car started. Then at the first stop light I came to the battery light came on, and again when I pushed the gas it went off. What could be the issue.

The battery light is not an indicator of battery life. It is telling you that the battery is not being recharged and it will die again. You likely have a bad alternator.
