Replaced with new and it went dead in two days. What should I do next? How do I check the alternator? Alternator is hard to get at, can I check it with car running at the battery terminals? You should see between 13.5 and 14.8v. It's going dead while its being used, it starts with radio and air conditioning going off and a few minutes later the car dies.
