Does anyone have any idea how much this will cost to get fixed? The Ford dealer will not give me a clue until they hook it up for a diagnostic check ($90). Any advice is appreciated. Does the $1,000 you mention include labor? I have a co-worker who had the same thing happen to her Hybrid...it was over $3,000. They had to take the entire engine out...I don't think they would have to do that with my model. You need the dealer to give you accurate prices.
