2004 grand am wont start

car started fine this morning, went to the store and now it won't start. lights come on, ac comes on, power windows work, radio will not come on, and the car wont crank..please help...my daughter is stuck in a parking lot in Tennessee crying and I don't know how to help her from here in FloridaUnsure

So the car doesn't crank? That means the starter motor doesn't turn the engine over.

If the starter motor doesn't crank, the first thing she needs to do is have the battery tested. When she has the battery out have her inspect the connections to be sure they are free of corrosion.

Once you know the battery and connections at the battery are good, then you need to check for power from the starter relay down at the starter motor itself.

Thank you for responding...A friend just took her to wally world to get jumper cables to see if it will at least start so she can get it and herself home. I will tell her to have him check the battery out.
