my 2004 concord believe engine is 2.75 (small one). On the freeway my speedometer, gear shift light, and now headlights fade in and out. Had battery and alternator checked out and was told ok. Battery light has come on twice in the last two weeks. Dont know why but seems to me they only fade in and out at high speed 65mph and up, dont notice it driving on the streets. Mechanic said could be regulator so alternator was changed out $500.00. Car does the same darn thing. any suggestions? I keep thinking it must be some kind of wiring thats lose. any info would be greatly appreciated before i go back to garage and ask for refund of some kind!

Have you checked and cleaned your battery cables? That would be the first and easiest thing to check. If they are clean the real mechanics on this site will give you more in depth advice on what to check next. Hammer Time is and Discreet Signals are always on first thing in the morning. All the mechanics here are top notch and I haven't been able to stump them yet with any automotive issues I have had. I'm still trying to get them on one though!
