Also, you have to hold the latch in for a second before it release to open. Is the cable loose? Does the latch need to be replaced? Not sure how to fix it because it's not actually *broken.* Thanks in advance! In that you said there's a delay is sounds more like an electric release. Either way do spray WD-40 on all moving parts you can get to while it is open and do things like that to hinges, locks, latches on some regular basis. People don't think of that in routine maintenance but should. Some of the item are quite difficult to replace depending on how, where and what failed. Yeah, I will lube it up. Why didn't I think of that?
