Hi guys, I have a 2004 Opel Corsa NJOY Z1.OXEP MT5 CR that doesn't start, it has about 100,000 kilometres on it. When I turn the key in the ignition there is no click or noise whatsoever, I believe it is the starter that is the problem but I would like the advice of someone more experienced with cars before I decide what to do. Thanks in advance, Karl :)

Does any other electrical anything work? If so try looking at a dome/overheat interior light while attempting and see if it dims just as a clue for me. Other if some power and lights work is just give the body of the starter motor a mild tap with a hammer and try again. If that works don't trust it again as it suggests the starter. If all either goes out for power and even a clock or pre-sets for things like a radio or other check battery terminal connections and clean them AND check the other ends of each as well. It's a good time to also charge battery with a charger and have it tested. Important: When disconnecting a batter always remove negative cable first, do whatever work and put that one back on last. You will have lost all computer memory and pre sets of things and or any alarms may be activated so know you system's operation before doing such, T
