How do I change the rear wheel bearing on a 2004 Z-71 1500 4wd Avalanche?

You best bet is to get a service manual and follow the instructions in that. You'll need an axle bearing remover tool and axle bearing installation tool to do the job properly. Also inspect the axle shaft itself. If the bearing is torn up, it will probably need an axle too.
