2003 envoy interior lights stay on, rear wipers dont work, and door clicker doesnt work when cold	Sign In

I have a 2003 Envoy SLT. last winter when it got cold, the interior lights stayed on, the rear wiper would not work, and the clicker to lock/unlock door would not work. then when it warmed up it was ok. Now that it is getting hot out, it is doing the same 3 things. I had the battery checked and it is good and I put a new battery in the door clicker.

All that stuff runs through the Body Control Computer and it can get very technical. You will need a factory scan tool to be able to access the data.

Turns out had 2 broken wires in back hitch. One grounding out and the other was the cam (can?) data. Back in business!

Interesting. What is a data bus circuit doing back there at the trailer hitch? Maybe you mean the lift gate module harness? CAN wasn't used for that year. They were still using Class 2 serial protocol.
