2002 saturn vibrates when stopped at a light

Hello, I've had my 2002 Saturn coupe for 3 years and it just started doing some vibrating while stopped at a red light. (not a stop sign) I notice the rpm's go up and down while it's doing this. What could be some possible causes/things to check?

Any check engine lights? Time for tune up? IAC may need a cleaning.

the engine light did come on today but then it shut off. it seems to happen when it's idle for 10 seconds in drive or reverse.

If the light did come on, the trouble code should be stored . Take it to auto zone and have them retrieve the stored codes. We can go from there.

they said a cylinder is misfiring. Is that bad?

Not good, find the cause of the mis fire, bad plug etc and go from there.

ok. im not a mechanic but was just taking a look into it. Cylinder #2 is the 2nd one from the left correct? ill be checking the ignition coils first
