You want to disconnect the battery beforehand though. Try that and let us know how you made out. Guest Anonymous Poster Oct 4, 2006, 3:03 PM Post #3 of 4 (2449 views) Re: 2002 chevrolet suburban Sign In this vehicle is a repo, that does not have the origanal key and tumbler from the best we can tell, because we had a new keys made from the vin on two seperate occasions from two seperate dealers. unfortunatly the original seller nor the lien holder whom the vehicle was repossessed for had extra keys to the vehicle...any suggestions... lock smith? are they capable of make a new key for the exsisting tumbler? I would hate it if I were telling or helping a thief to get this thing going. LOL Dan.
