2002 Toyota Corolla with 191k miles has EVAP codes Sign In

Hello! I have a 2002 Toyota Corolla with 191k miles. I recently got two new, but pending codes stored in the system. I have the codes:

P0441 (Evaporative Emission Control System Incorrect Purge Flow)
P0446 (Evaporative Emission Control System Vent Control Circuit Malfunction)
P0420 (Catalyst Efficiency below threshold Bank 1, although this doesn't apply to the post)

I have a feeling it is either my gas cap or my charcoal canister, but I don't want to go out and buy parts that won't fix the issue.

If I let my car sit at least a couple of hours, or overnight, it sometimes has a hard time starting. And when I turn off the car and get out (in my garage), there are fumes of unburned fuel. I can also smell the same thing when my windows are rolled down while I'm driving.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

What did you use to come to those conclusions........a magic 8 ball?

You have codes for 2 solenoids in the EVAP system. It's telling you that those 2 components are not working for an unknown reason. The reason needs to be determined before you go any further.
