2002 Mitsubishi Montero stalls at idle

2002 mitsubishi montero sport 3.0 with 123,000 miles. Just started happening today, it was after i changed my battery, but i am not sure how that figures in. Drives fine, but when I stop (i.e. stoplight, parking, etc.) the rpm's get lower then just dies out. Unfortunately I have not been able to locate a manual for it otherwise i would have started with the fuel filter, and maybe i'm blind, but i can't locate it. Anything would help right now.

monti; It is very common for the computer to lose KAM (keep alive memory) when the battery takes a dump. An extended drive cycle should bring it back to normal.
