Exhaust pipe outside diameter from cat back appears to be 2.5". I want to buy a Flowmaster 70 series big block and install. Plan on using sawzall to cut the pipe right in front of the muffler and put new one on. Any problems using clamps as opposed to welding? Not sure what offset to get on the muffler? There isn't much distance from the stock muffler outlet to the exhaust tip. You would be way ahead of the game to let an exhaust shop do that for you as they can do a professional job for a very reasonable price.
