My 2002 Dodge Caravan Sport has 135000 miles. When I start it up the headlights, heater, and radio won't work. When I turn the headlight switch on the instrument lights work but the gear indicator, which usually has a box around the gear it is in, has boxes around every gear. It will go into all gears but when in drive it will not automatically to the next gear. It hits about 4000 RPM at 50 mph. After 5 mins or so of driving it will start to "cut out" or almost die. Sometimes it does. I really don't know where to start. It obviously seems like an electrical or CPU problem but I wanted to get some feedback from you guys. Thanks for any help you can provide.

No it just started a week ago. It was dry. It did just start to get cooler, around 35-45 degrees. It all happened at once.

Your van has multiple computers to control various systems eng, drive train, and body. You seem to have a little of all. One thing they have in common is grounds . Start at battery, clean and tighten connections and check every ground you can find. It takes a professional scanner and a good tech to go any deeper.
