2002 Chevy silver ado won't hold idle anymore.repaced intake gasket on the 4.3l engine but still dies when clutch is engaged.runs fine otherwise.also replace tps and idle air control valve

No I'm sorry it's a manual transmission so when I come to a stop or as soon as I depress the clutch to stop it dies however it will not hold idle when it's in neutral either.

First eliminate all vacuum or air leaks in the system. You may have a bad IAC ( idle air control) but try cleaning the throttle body first. Remove the intake snorkel, have someone hold the throttle wide open for you and scrub the back side of the throttle plate and surrounding bore with an old tooth brush and some carb cleaner. Be sure to spray some into the small holes next to the throttle plate. That should help stabilize the idle. If it still has a problem, replace the IAC.

Iac and tps have both been replaced and cannot find any vacuum leaks..I am getting a lean code but will try cleaning the throttle body.

If you're getting a lean code then you need to look harder for vacuum leaks.
