Search Auto Parts Search 2001 sunfire Sign up here!   Email This Post Auto Repair Home>> Automotive Repair>> Car Troubleshooting KWM New User Aug 1, 2012, 5:36 PM Post #1 of 5 (2067 views) 2001 sunfire Sign In my daughters 2001 pontiac sunfire, 2.2 engine, 85k miles.. the car gauges fliker and the car dies from time to time. only when shes driving. i have checked the altinator and wiggled the wiring under the hook thinking it might be a loose ground or short. the car never does it while its setting still, this is why i think its a loose ground or a bare wire shorting out. the engine has no codes in the computer and the check engine light never comes on...what do you think i should do or is there something else i should try?
