Sign In I have a 2001 Ford Taurus, 3.0 V-6, (U - V.I.N.) with 137K miles. After I start and run the car for a bit and turn it off, it acts like it's not getting gas and fails to start. After I wait about 30 to 60 minutes, it starts and runs. Is it the fuel pump or something else? Thanks. Sign In You'll have to check for spark, fuel pressure, and injector pulse when it doesn't want to start. Once you know what is missing, you'll have direction for diagnosing your issue.
